"Cleansing tax identification numbers - Removing bottlenecks in business"
Under Official Letter No. 6610/DAN-NVDTPC dated 15/07/2026 of the Da Nang City Tax Department regarding the request to jointly communicate the Campaign "Cleansing tax identification numbers - Removing bottlenecks in business".
To protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens and taxpayers, while cleansing tax identification number data and ensuring a transparent business environment, the Tax sector is implementing the Campaign "Cleansing tax identification numbers - Removing bottlenecks in business" nationwide. Tax authorities at all levels are actively reviewing and standardizing tax code data; determining actual statuses; classifying cases that need support; identifying cases requiring reactivation or deactivation of tax codes, or coordinating with competent authorities to handle risks related to taxes, invoices and related legal entities.
Key objectives of the Campaign
Cleanse, standardize and reduce the backlog of taxpayers in the status of having ceased operations without completing tax code deactivation procedures (status 03) and taxpayers not operating at their registered address (status 06).
Strictly control newly arising cases, ensuring that new dissolution and termination dossiers are processed without delay.
Remove bottlenecks for investment, production and business activities of compliant taxpayers; improve the effectiveness and efficiency of tax administration.
Prevent and stop the abuse of corporate legal entities to commit law violations, tax fraud and misappropriation of the state budget.
